From the tarmac road which circles the walls of Pienza, take the turning opposite the gateway to the town called 'Porta al ciglio', this is a dirt road which leads to our farmhouse.
This steep but manageable road opens onto a craggy landscape of clay hills known as 'calanchi', which once covered most of the Val d'Orcia.
Continue along this road in the direction of Monticchiello and after about 500mt you will reach our farmhouse.
This stone house has been restored with attention to detail and love by the Cappelli family. The traditional architectural features, representing a time when more than one family lived under the same roof and dedicated their lives to the land, have only been slightly modified to allow 4 comfortable apartments.
LOCATION
From the north take the A1 motorway an exit at Valdichiana; then follow the signs for Torrita di Siena, and then Pienza. When you arrive in Pienza head towards the Val d'Orcia and after about 500mt turn left onto a dirt road. After about 1km you arrive at our farmhouse.
