A dozen rooms, not more. But they are made really well! They are nothing luxurious, we don t have waiters in uniforms o whirlpool bath, but the wooden steps that leads you to the rooms is fantastic and reminds a lot of the time past, the beds are comfortable, space is abundant and bathrooms are elegant in typical Tuscan style but modern and very very clean. Some rooms are for one day travellers and some are more comfortable for those who remain longer. You can call us to say if you want to come with children, motorcycles, cars and many places to see or just pass by and ask for a room where to sleep. We are here for all of this.
LOCATION
From North, coming from the freeway Florence-Siena, take the exit Monteriggioni and go left in direction Siena. The road is really worth, since it goes around the castle of Monteriggioni, that you can see on your left up on the hill. After about 6 kilometers, at the crossing to S. Colomba-Fungaia, on your right there is “Il Ceppo”.
From South, coming from Rome or Grosseto, it’s necessary to enter the ‘tangenziale’ of Siena following direction ‘Firenze’. The best exit is Siena Nord. After turning right twice, enter the SS2 Cassia, in direction Uopini-Monteriggioni. After about 4 kilometers, on your left, before the crossing to S. Colomba-Fungaia, you can see “Il Ceppo.
