San Frediano Mansion: A trip in Florentine renaissance Our hotel is situated in an important historical Florentine palace. in the 15th century, its story is told by the wonderful frescos with S. Giuseppe(Joesph), Madonna(Mary), and the baby(Jesus), all located on the ground floor. The hotel was made biggerin the 18th century by Marchesi Capponi, a famous noble Florentine family. In the 19th century, the palace was newly transformed in a neo-renaissance stlye. The interior still preserves important pistorial decoratives and frescos. You can enter in the palace also by the back garden- Lungarno Sederini. Parterre keeps the original shape of the 18th century.

From Santa Maria Novella train station
By foot: The Bed&Breakfast San Frediano Mansion is a 10 minute walk from the station. After exiting the station, continue to the Piazza Santa Maria Novella and then towards Via de’Fossi.. When you arrive at Ponte alla Carraia, go straight through, and you will be in Borgo San Frediano.
By bus: From the station, catch bus ‘D’ and take it to the last stop-Via Borgo San Frediano. This will put you exactly infront of the Bed&Breakfast SanFrediano.
By car: From motorway A1, take exit Firenze Certosa, and continue on to Porta Romana. When you arrive in Piazza Pier Vettori continue to Via Pisana. At the end you will find Borgo San Frediano.
From the Airport By taxi or by bus ‘navetta’ until arriving at the train station Santa Maria Novella. Then continue on with bus ‘D’.
