In the city of Cortona (Arezzo - Tuscany), in the heart of Italy, which was the cradle of the ancient Etruscans, the Hotel Restaurant 'Corys' was born.
A legend tells that Dardano, who was the founder of Cortona, lost his Corys corythos (helmet) just in this area while fighting against the neighbouring peoples; from this fact derives Corito and then Cortona. Nowadays Corys is a reality: it is a little charming, refined and elegant hotel, with every comfort, which overlooks the Tuscan Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno, from its 600 metres' altitude.

LOCATION
Cortona is in the province of Arezzo, right in the middle of Central Italy. It can be reached swiftly and easily, being served by the Autostrada del Sole A1 -Valdichiana exit-, State Motorway SS 75 to Perugia, exit direction Cortona, after about 7km skirt the external walls and follow the sign for Corys; and the Milan-Florence-Rome railway (Terontola-Cortona).
